Anderlecht lost the return game against Sivasspor with 3-1. The contrast with the other game was big in Turkey, but what matters is that Anderlecht is qualified for the fourth preliminary round of the Champions League.

The circumstances were ideal: sun was gone and there was a light breeze. A couple of 100 fans made the trip to support the team. Polak played, Legear, Biglia and Suarez started on the bench.

Anderlecht started well in the first few minutes. But after ten minutes Martin Ersen scored the first Turkish goal. This was a sign for Sivasspor to attack which resulted in another goal: 2-0. Jelle Van Damme touched the ball with his hands and Kamanan didn’t miss the penalty. RSCA was awake and tried to score as well. A few minutes later Van Damme could score the important 2-1.

This Friday Anderlecht will know its opponent for the fourth preliminary round of the Champions League. RSCA will have to play at their highest level because they will certainly draw a team that is much bigger than Sivasspor.
