Efficient and nice, decisive passes. After three years at Anderlecht, Lucas Biglia is playing at his highest level. The little prince of the park is decisive for his team. “Now they let me play as a number 10,” says Lucas.

After the death of his father, Biglia is back on the right track. “The WC 2010 isn’t a dream, but a goal,” Lucas states. His little girl Alegra turned El Principito (The little prince) into a real prince.

"Whether or not I felt under-appreciated? I just do what I have to do in favour of the team and I tried to make progression as a footballer. What the press and other people think of me doesn’t interest me.”

Will the big transfer come at the end of this month? “When there’s no offer, I’ll just stay at Anderlecht. I still have a contract until 2010. Ánd we play European football until December.”

For a number 10, Lucas still doesn’t score enough. “I’m working on that,” he says. “The trainer told me we’re going to work on it after I score my first goal. Also my last passes can get better.”

"Earlier this month, Roland Juhasz said this is the strongest Anderlecht since he arrived here,” says the Argentinean. “Well, he’s right. I’ve never seen a team with such a hunger and eagerness since our title in 2007. This year we have to win everything!”
