"Punishment for Witsel has to stay acceptable"

Axel Witsel has to meet the board today at 2pm. "I’m going to ask a punishment that hopefully ends the rivalry between Anderlecht and Standard", says René Verstringhe.


"Later they might not even want to play each other again. That’s not how football should be. The punishment however has to stay acceptable for Witsel. He hasn’t made any serious mistakes before. We can’t suspend him until the moment Wasilewski plays again.”
