Action: stop the madness !

After the tragic events of last Sunday, the atmosphere between Sporting Anderlecht and Standard de Liège became clear. What happened on Sunday, can only be strongly condemned!


Meanwhile, Witsel has been punished. We don't want to speak out about whether his penalty is justified. But we would like to see the verdict as a starting point. Therefore, we ask all football fans to leave the incident behind to work on a constructive and sportive atmosphere.

We ask all fans to:
- Be sportive! Football is a game, not a battle.
- Support your team in a positive way and create a good atmosphere inside the stadium.
- But also respect the opponent.

We ask all clubs to:
- Cooperate more to raise the level of the Belgian league once again.
- Talk with the fans and help them in creating a positive atmosphere.
- Spread a certain ethic behaviour, especially amongst their players.
- Mutual respect.

Wa ask the Federation, the Prof-League and all referees to:
- Decisively react on all forms or aggression, if needed helped by video images.
- Make a good policy and long-term guidelines for the Belgian football.

Together we can make sure that Anderlecht-Standard of last Sunday becomes more than a black page in the book of Belgian football...
