Anderlecht took the lead yesterday after a victory against GBA (1-0) while Bruges and STVV lost points. 16 year old Rumelu Lukaku was again man of the match. He scored the only goal.

Anderlecht's victory was well deserved. The Mauves had the best chances and controlled the game. Though the game was of a poor quality. The home side's strikers had difficulties finding each other and lacked to ability to finish the few chances they had. But GBA never seemed capable to threaten the Brussels' defence. Lukaku scored the only goal of the match in the second half. The vistors ended the game with ten after a red card for a dangerous tackle on Suarez.
