Romelu Lukaku is hot these days. While at Anderlecht everything’s going wrong, the 16-year old striker is having the time of his life. Manager Patrick Vervoort asks to be realistic.

“Romelu has a lot of talent, but there’s still a long way to go. It’s good that he’s already decisive. Starting the game is his next goal now,” says Patrick Vervoort in GvA. "European top clubs like Chelsea and Milan are out of the question now. Young players can’t become stars too fast. It’s too early for that. It’s a good thing that Romelu stayed in Anderlecht.”

In the same newspaper they also give an explanation why Lukaku has such a body on such a young age. “It’s all genetically. African people have more muscles and develop their body quicker. They’ve always been ahead on white people,” he says. “That’s also why African players can start doing fitness exercises earlier.”
