Advocaat doesn’t need Van Damme, Proto and Gillet

Olivier Deschacht and Tom De Sutter are the only Anderlecht – players who were selected by Dick Advocaat. Amongst the 21 selected players, no Jelle Van Damme, Silvio Proto and Guillaume Gillet .

The biggest surprise is the absence of PSV – player and captain Timmy Simons. Also ex-Anderlechtplayers Anthony Vanden Borre and Maarten Martens weren’t selected. Vincent Kompany isn’t fit yet.

Roland Lamah however, is back again, just like Standard – player Mehdi Carcela. He’s the only new guy in Advocaat’s selection.

On October 10th and 14th, the Red Devils are playing against Turkey and Estonia, the last two qualification rounds for the WC.
