Anderlecht's opponent in the Europa League Dinamo Zagreb was sentenced on Thursday to two games behind closed doors and a deduction of three points as punishment for the disturbances that marred their match against Timisoara.

This penalty means that the next two home games against Ajax and Timisoara will be played in front of an empty crowd. In addition, the withdrawn points changes the standings in group A, Ajax and Anderlecht are now tied in the lead with five points, three ahead of FC Timisoara and five points clear of Dinamo, last. The first two in the group stage qualify for next round of the Europa League. Dinamo Zagreb has three days to appeal against the verdict of the European Football Association (UEFA).
