Romelu Lukaku continues to shine for Anderlecht, scoring and setting up his strike partner Suarez to secure the three points for the home team against a feisty Lokeren side that made Proto work hard.

The visitors were the equal of purple and white, but failed to finish, something Lukaku has had little difficulty with over the past few weeks.

The first half was one to forget. Both teams played very messy soccer and Lokeren was the better team but forgot to capitalize on their opportunities. Lukaku punished lax defening by heading in the opener in the 33rd minute. The cross came from Jelle Van Damme.

The second half was virtually a repeat of the first with little football played. In the 66th minute, Lukaku reached after a beautiful ball from Gillet. The wonderkid extended connect to Suarez who finished the maneuver. Towards the end of the game to Lokeren still managed to score through Tomo Sokota, but De Pauw was offside. Nicolas Frutos continued his comback in the last ten minutes replacing the new fan favorite number 36 for the Purple and White.

Up next, Anderlecht host Timisoara in the Europa League.
