Anderlecht to beat Mechelen: 2-0

Anderlecht took the three points against KV Mechelen, but the home side was lucky that the visitors weren't leading at half time. In the second half, the Brussels' team was dominant and scored twice.


It was a game with two faces. Mechelen managed to create several open chances before the break. But a good Proto made sure the nill stayed on the scoreboard.

After the break, Anderlecht proved to be a lot better. They created a lot of good chances, but they could only score when Legear and Lukaku entered the field. Gillet opened the score with a header and Lukaku doubled it a few minutes later.
