Anderlecht defeated Genk on the penultimate matchday of the regular season of the Jupiler League. The final score was 2-0 with goals to Lukaku and De Sutter. Meanwhile, five clubs are already certain of going to the play-offs.

The clubs are Anderlecht, Brugge, Gent, STVV and Kortrijk. Zulte Waregem or Standard will get the last play-off ticket.

Genk had a good start and Proto had to produce saves several times. Thomas Buffel especially proved to be dangerous. Anderlecht reacted with a few meager attempts from Legear and Mazuch. The home team took control over the game shortly before half time, but was lucky when Toszer's free kick struck the upright.

After the break, Lukaku quickly put his team ahead. He pushed the ball against the net after a quick combination between Boussoufa and Suarez. Genk could never react, but the game remained exciting because Anderlecht failed to double the lead until De Sutter who scored the second goal two minutes before the end.
