Anderlecht came one step closer to the 30th title. The Mauves overclassed AA Gent, ranked third, this evening. At half time, the score was already 0-3. The visitors controlled the game in the second half and allowed Gent one goal.


Gent opened with an effort of Custovic, but from then on Anderlecht took control. Boussoufa played a fantastic first half and also brought Anderlecht one up when he scored on a center of Suarez. A bit later, Juhasz doubled the lead with a shot in the left corner after a corner kick. Before the break, the game was played. On a quick counter attack, Suarez passed to Boussoufa who centered for Gillet. He scored against his former club: 0-3.

The second half was not that exciting. A smart Anderlecht controlled the game and allowed Gent just a few chances. On one of these chances Custovic scored the 1-3.
