The clubs wants an extra goalkeeper for next season. There are some doubts about Proto's capabilities, so extra competition might be a good idea. Simon Mignolet of STVV is Anderlecht's first choice.
But also Sammy Bossut of Zulte Waregem is an option. If a new goalie joins the Mauves, Zitka and/or Cordier will have to find a new club.
Simon Mignolet denies that he was already contacted by Anderlecht: "No, I haven't heard from Anderlecht yet. But that's normal, since my club (STVV) still has to face them twice in the play-offs. Other clubs, such as Fulham, Sunderland and PSV are showing interest though."
