Mbo Mpenza scored his first goal for Anderlecht in the first friendly game, against Wolvertem. But the former-player of Mouscron is not demanding a place in the starting line-up yet.

"I didn't come here with the intention to demand a place in the team. No, I said that I wanted to help Anderlecht as good as I can. That goal was a relief, because I feel that people expect a lot from me. But I won't score 40 goals. I'm more some one to prepare goals for others."

"I like playing together with Aruna Dindane and Nenad Jestrovic. I want to work for them so they can score more goals. Jestrovic has to stay. Anderlecht need him if they want to perform as good as last year."

Mbo already experienced the pressure for playing for the champions. But that does not worry him.
"It's the same in the national team. We are under pressure there too. But I realise we have to win everything here to have a succesful season."
