Anderlecht lost points again this weekend in the game against Zulte Waregem. The Mauves were clearly better, but were unable to create serious chances during the first 80 minutes of the match... Therefore, the 0-0 stayed in the scoreboard.

The home side was still shaken for the Champions League elimination and that showed. They played with a lack of self confidence at a low pace. The visitors didn't really have problems to defend their goal. Besides a few distance shots and even fewer counter attacks from Zulte, the first 80 minutes didn't offer much.

At the end, an unhappy crowd saw the Mauves raising the pace and immediately several chances followed. Suarez struck the post twice, Badibanga missed a good center of Deschacht at the second post and Boussoufa and Kanu were unable to score alone in front of the visiting goalie. Logical result: 0-0.
