Anderlecht won this weekend against STVV. Lukaku was the man of the match with two fantastic goals. Anderlecht now close in on leader Genk. The Mauves are second with two points less.

STVV took the best start with a few chances. The best one was for Camara, but his effort came back from the upright.
Anderlecht scored out of the first chance they created: Lukaku turned away from his defender and placed the ball in the bottom corner. Ten minutes later, he doubled the lead. Boussoufa opened for Lukaku who ran down the wing. Chased by two defenders, he scored the 0-2 with a hard shot in the top corner.

STVV could not really react, though Proto had to save one effort of Sidibe. The same way of play continued in the second half. Anderlecht, controlling, had the best chance via Boussoufa, but his effort was cleared from the line. And also STVV had one good chance via Sidibe.

At the end, Lukaku got his well deserved replacement. Kabasele, 16 years old, took his place and made his debute in the highest division that way.
