Anderlecht was beaten another time by Ajax yesterday. This time, the Mauves didn't really put up a fight. After the two goals of Ajax in the first half, the game dropped to a low pace with just a few chances.

The Mauves started with confidence and had an early chance via Kanu. The problem from last week remained though: he missed. Ajax played more quickly and caused the slow Anderlecht defence problems. Especially the wings were overrun. Sulejmani took advantage and scored twice before the game was 20 minutes old. Anderlecht even escaped from a third goal.

The second half was boring. Lukaku tried to set up a few attacks, but his team mates were lacking motivation and physical freshness to join the efforts. Ajax just controlled the game and eventually won 2-0.
