Anderlecht and Racing Genk shared the points on Friday. The Mauves equalised in the last minute through Juhasz, but deserved maybe even more than one point. Both teams remain side by side in the ranking.

The first half was not very attractive. Anderlecht played slow with many bad passes and defensive mistakes. Genk controlled the midfield but couldn't really create many chances. Though after a failed effort of De Bruyne, the ball ended up with Vossen and he headed the 1-0 against the net.

Anderlecht took an offensive start in the second half. Suarez came into play and the Mauves started to push forward. Many corner kicks and small chances were the result, but Genk defended well. Anderlecht escaped from another goal on counter attack: Proto saved.

Trainer Jacobs saw his team becoming stronger and also swapped defenders Wasilewski and Mazuch for strikers. In the last minute, with also Proto in the box, Juhasz scored with a header on a corner kick. In the remaining three minutes of stoppage time, as well Genk as Anderlecht still had chances to win, but it remained 1-1.
