Anderlecht played a 1-1 draw against Lyon. This was quite a poor performance, because Lyon played only one half with their strongest team.


Lyon was the best team in the first half. Juninho mastered the midfield and started the French attacks. The score was 1-0 for Lyon at half-time. Govou scored after 34 minutes because Van Steenberghe made a bad interception.
Lyon started in the second half with its B-team. Jestrovic could score the equaliser with his head. After that goal, Lyon started to make more pressure, but 1-1 was the final score.
