The U17 team of Anderlecht won the AEGON Future Cup, a tournament for youth teams organised by Ajax. The final was won against Ajax with a goal of Mohamed Soumare. The Mauves won all five games and didn't take a single goal.
Anderlecht midfielder Dennis Praet was elected as best player of the tournament.
