Anderlecht draws Benfica Lisbon

Anderlecht will challenge the Portugese team Benfica Lisbon in the third preliminary round of the Champions League. The team of coach Giovanni Trappatoni was one of the strongest teams that could be drawed.


Still coach Hugo Broos wasn't afraid of Benfica before the draw. "Oke, it's a good team, but should we be afraid of them because they have a big stadium?" he asked himself.

The first matches will be play on 10 and 11 August, the second matches will be on 24 and 25 August. Anderlecht will play in Portugal first.
