Anderlecht are finally knocked out for the title and will end third for sure after a 2-1 defeat in Standard. So it will be Europa League instead of Champions League... The worst prestation in nine years.

Standard proved to be the better team at home, but it had problems cracking the visiting defence. Anderlecht counter attacked and should have gotten a penalty when Gillet was brought down in the box. But the referee hadn't seen a thing. The story of the play-offs... On the other side, Carcela eliminated a slow Juhasz and scored the opening goal: 1-0.

The second half began with pressure of Standard. Anderlecht seemed ready for taking a second goal, but Juhasz equalised. The ball fell on his head without knowing it, and disappeared into the net. Standard then opened a furious offensive, finally defeating Anderlecht's defence a second time short before the end via Tchité.
