Lukaku not going to Chelsea after all

With the coming of Villas-Boas as trainer of Chelsea, Lukaku will probably not make the move to the London club. The Portuguese prefers more experienced players over young talent.


Falcao, Hulk, Joao Moutinho, Rolando, Luka Modric, Neymar, Coentrao and Gareth Bale are on Chelsea's shortest now. Lukaku is not a priority anymore. Villas-Boas thinks 20 million euro is too much for the talented Belgian striker.

That way, Lukaku's dream of playing for the Blues seems over. More importantly, the race to land the player, is now open again. Arsenal might be a good candidate, since Anderlecht and the Gunners were negotiating a cooperation. But also Real Madrid had shown serious interest in the striker. To be continued...
