Anderlecht to score 3 goals in 4 minutes

Four impressive minutes were enough for Anderlecht to take the three points in Zulte-Waregem. The Mauves were trailing 2-0 when they started a comeback in minute 82. A bit later the final result was on the scoreboard: 2-3.


The first half was fairly weak. The Anderlecht midfield couldn't dictate the game. Especially Marecek, Biglia's replacement, was invisible. Canesin tried to send passes to the offensive line, but couldn't be decisive. Kljestan started weak, but grew during the game and ended with a good performance after all. This resulted in almost no chances in the first 45 minutes.

Zulte Waregem couldn't do much better. They were dangerous on two free kicks. One of them struck the crossbar, but Proto was ready to make a save if needed.

The second half was a lot better. Anderlecht started strong and put the home side under pressure. This resulted in a good chance for Jovanovic and a few smaller efforts on goal.

Though it was Zulte Waregem that opened the score. A shot of Serwy deflected on Wasilewski and fell over Proto's head in the goal.
Anderlecht reacted, but couldn't score. On the other side, Chevalier missed a good counter attack. But a few minutes later he scored after a huge blunder of Proto. Chevalier missed his shot completely. Proto only had to pick up the ball, but let it bounce over his arm so it rolled slowly over the goal line: 2-0.

The Mauves' offensive collapsed until Marecek and Canesin were replaced by De Sutter and Badibanga.
In minute 84, Proto launched a long ball to Wasilewski who headed the 2-1 in the goal. Two minutes later, De Sutter scored a beautiful goal: he turned in the box and struck the ball while it was still in the air. It went in into the right corner. And again two minutes later, De Sutter headed the winning goal against the net.

A frustrated Sivakov got red in the last minutes and Anderlecht easily held the victory.
