Mons-Anderlecht 1-1

Anderlecht lost points in an away game again. Mons equalised short before the end (1-1) after a blunder of Juhasz. The Mauves remain first, with one point more than AA Gent.


Anderlecht took a good start and pushed Mons back from the beginning. There weren't many chances though, besides a few efforts from outside the box. Gillet scored on a penalty kick. He was brought down in the box and converted the penalty himself.

Mons reacted in the second half. Anderlecht only thought of defending the lead and tried to counter attack. The home side didn't have may chances though. Five minutes before the end, Makiese equalised. Juhasz tried to get the ball away but hit Makiese while doing so. The ball fell over Proto into the goal...
