Wasyl suspended for four matchdays

Marcin Wasilewski will be effectively suspended for four matchdays and conditionally for two more. This is the result of the elbow punch he gave to Delorge in the match against STVV.


The suspension will start after the games against Standard and Gent. But the Mauves will probably go into appeal since they don't agree with the punishment. As long as the procedure is not finally concluded, Wasilewski can keep on playing. More information about Anderlecht's decision will follow tomorrow.
