Matias Suarez still injured

Matias Suarez won't be joining the group of 26 players who left for Austria this morning. After a month of vacation and rehabilitation, he is still suffering from his injured knee.


Suarez and the Anderlecht medical staff only have about a month left to get him ready for the new season. Anderlecht was counting on Suarez to help the club qualify for the Champions League.

After Chelsea won the Champions League in May, Anderlecht was condemned to two preliminary rounds. Anderlecht would be prepared to co-operate in a transfer, after having qualified for the group stage.
