Next season is a second chance for Guillermo Molins to prove himself at Anderlecht. His first season went up in flames after a severe injury in a friendly during pre-season. "It feels so good to be able to play again."

According to Anderlecht manager Herman Van Holsbeeck, Molins is to be the best transfer of the season. Up to Guillermo himself to prove the manager right. "I didn't go on a vacation after the championship last season. I stayed in Belgium for two more weeks, to rehabilitate on my own."

"When I eventually returned to Sweden, I trained with my former team Malmö. I've lost 5 kilos in a short period of time. It feels so good to be able to play again. I've recovered from the most difficult time in my life. Before my injury I thought of myself as invincible."

Trained with Ronald Vargas

Guillermo is now back to training with the group, "but when I feel some pain, I don't take any risks. I'm at 60% now, but I'll be ready for the start of the new season."

"Training by yourself the whole time gets lonely. Luckely I had Ronald Vargas to keep me company. We've grown to be good friends. I'm so sorry he's injured again, but he's strong. If I had that much bad luck, I don't know if I'd have the courage to return every time."

Euro 2012

Before his injury, Guillermo was part of the Swedish national team. "If I hadn't been injured, I'm 90% sure I would've played in the Euros, but I had to get over it. The most important thing was to get ready as soon as possible to play for Anderlecht."

"Hopefully I'll get a place in the starting 11 with Anderlecht, so I can join my national team again real soon. Some of the older players will quit the team, our Euro adventure was a bit of a let-down."
