RSC Anderlecht lost a friendly game against Red Bull Salzburg. The final result was 2-0. Maierhofer in the first half and Savic in the second half scored the goals.

Anderlecht survived the first fifteen minutes in which the Austrian team clearly was stronger. Proto and Kouyate saved several efforts. When the storm died out and the Mauves gained territory, Salzburg scored though. Maierhofer's shot was first saved by Proto, but he scored in the rebound.

Salzburg easily defended their lead, despite more control for Anderlecht resulting in a few chances. Anderlecht claimed a penalty 10 minutes before the break, but didn't get one.

The second half brought more of the same: Salzburg defending and Anderlecht trying... Eventually the Mauves equalised in the second half, but the linesman had seen offside. Close before the end, Savic doubled the lead of the Austrian team and the game was over.
