Anderlecht meet Ekranas in qualifying round 3

After the first leg had ended on a 0-0 score, the return game in Lithuania was won by home team Ekranas with 2-0. This means Anderlecht will face the Lithuanian champions in the third qualifying round for the Champions League.


The first leg will be played on the 1st of August in the Anderlecht stadium. Coach John van den Brom is determined to ensure qualification after the home game already.

However, he still can't count on Golden Boot winner Matias Suarez, who's still suffering from his knee injury. And the coach is even more concerned about his defense, with Kouyaté at the Olympics and Juhasz still in rehabilitation.
