Anderlecht crush Ekranas again: 0-6

Anderlecht crushed Ekranas for a second time now. After the 5-0 in Brussels, the Mauves now also won the second leg. This time the scoreline was even higher: 0-6. The aggregate score is 11-0.


Anderlecht started with some fresh players in the line-up. Striker Mbokani was absent. Iakovenko, De Sutter and Kljestan got their chance to play. Praet returned in the team after an injury.

After 7 minutes, the Mauves already took the lead. Kljestan scored, when the goalie misjudged a centre. After 25 minutes, Gillet appeared alone in front of the Ekranas keeper. He pulled down the player in the box: red and penalty. Gillet missed once more...

Before the break, Anderlecht already had a three goal bonus: Praet and Iakovenko scored.

With a large margin, coach Van den Brom replaced Biglia and Gillet for Marecek and Molins. Though scoring remained easy. De Sutter, Molins and Canesin scored three more goals. Anderlecht can look forward to the draw for the Champions League play offs that takes place tomorrow.
