Anderlecht lost points yesterday in Leuven. The game ended on a 1-1 draw. the Mauves left Wasyl, Kanu & Safari on the bench. Proto, Kouyaté, Biglia, Gillet & Mbokani were not in the selection.

Van den Brom changed most of his team. His starting line-up for Tuesday (against Limassol) received some extra rest, but his 'reserves' took a fabulous start. OH Leuven had to undergo the game with numerous chances for the visitors: Canesin tested Bailly, Iakovenko scored after 10 minutes after a fantastic combination with Canesin and Jovanvic, that same Iakoveko struck the upright and Praet's effort died on the crossbar.

OHL had their first chance after 31 minutes: Ibou got past Odio and placed the ball into the bottom right corner: 1-1. Anderlecht could not react and at half time the score was in balance.

The second half was a lot different. Anderlecht had to undergo the game now. The team lacked creativity and preciseness in the passes. Many duels on the midfield were lost. Ibou had the first good chance after 55 minutes. But also Chuka (59th and 75th minute) could not get the ball past Kaminiski who replaced Proto. On the other side, Anderlecht just had one serious chance but Jovanovic missed in front of an open goal (81st minute).
