Update on Biglia's situation

Lucas Biglia still hasn't returned to Anderlecht. The club determined the midfielder has a doctor's note until January 20. He is presumed to be ill. For now, he remains an Anderlecht player.


The Mauves announced he cannot leave this winter for less than 8 million euros. Though manager Van Holsbeeck and coach Van den Brom said he remains welcome in Brussels. According to the manager, Biglia can count on a transfer to a larger league at the end of the season.

As it comes to finding a replacement: it won't be Defour. His club Porto won't let him go. Therefore, De Zeeuw remains priority. The Dutchman is flattered but is still considering his possibilities.
