Kanu signed for Terek Grozny

Kanu will leave Anderlecht for Terek Grozny, the team of Jonathan Legear. Anderlecht will receive between two and three million euro for the midfielder. The transfer became possible since Suarez decided to stay.


Kanu was negotiating with Grozny for a few weeks already. But now that Suarez decided to stay in Anderlecht, the club decided to let Kanu go. And also for the player it will be an important, financial, step. He will earn a lot more in Russia than in Belgium.

Kanu said he couldn't refuse this offer, but that he will keep great memories of Anderlecht, the club where it all began for him.
