Van den Brom suspended - No decision about Deschacht yet

Olivier Deschacht will be suspended for two matchdays for his red card. In a duel, he hit a Ghent player in the face. Yet it is unclear whether this happened intentionally or not.


Anderlecht and the player don't accept the suspension. A special commission will judge over it tomorrow.

Coach Van den Brom will be suspended for one game. The coach insulted the linesman who had declared that, on a header of Kola, the ball had crossed the goal line. TV images show the ball wasn't over the line though. Yet the Dutchman won't be able to coach his team in the first playoff match against Genk.
