The club of Anderlecht is now in crisis. Yesterday, the Mauves lost in Zulte Waregem and are now, after dominating a whole season, ranked second. The final result was 2-1 with goals of Leye, Malanda and Mbokani.

Anderlecht started with renewed confidence after the excellent performance against Lokeren. The Mauves put pressure on Zulte Waregem but couldn't create many chances. The home side opened the score after 15 minutes. Nuytinck pushed Leye in the box and that last one easily fell. Referee Boucaut, who is not really loved in Anderlecht, thought it was enough for a penalty. Leye scored it: 1-0.

The Mauves reacted and came close to the equaliser when De Sutter's shot hit the upright.

After the break, Anderlecht tried but didn't really create chances. Only a free kick of Biglia had to be saved by goalkeeper Bruzzese. The goal fell on the other side when Zulte Waregem was again helped by referee Boucaut. Kouyaté was pushed and lost the ball. The action continued and Malanda scored. Not much later, Leye missed his second penalty.

In the last minute, Mbokani headed the 2-1 on the scoreboard, but it was too late for Anderlecht to return.
