Saturday evening, Anderlecht lost to Charleroi with 2-1. Anderlecht played a bad game. Guillaume Gillet scored the only goal for Anderlecht. Ronald Vargas played 26 minutes after a long injury.

A weak Anderlecht could not create any serious chance in the first half. The same could be said about Charleroi. Therefore 0-0 was logical at half time.

The second half started with a goal of Pollet after an attack over Anderlecht's right wing. The Mauves could not react and took a second goal, again over the same side. Charleroi then started defending their lead and Anderlecht had a few good chances. Gillet eventually scored the 2-1, but the Belgian champions forgot to score a second: 2-1.
