It seems that the plans for a new Anderlecht stadium are getting shape. The Eurostadium in Brussels will serve for the national team and probably for Anderlecht as well.

Manager Van Holsbeeck confirmed there is an agreement for a stadium without running track and without a complete roof. The stadium will be constructed on parking C of the Heysel area. All the involved sides agreed they would try to find a solution for the Memorial Van Damme that will have to find a new location.

The stadium will have to be finished no later than 2020 and would allow Belgium to host a few games for Euro 2020. It's expected to be finished by 2018 though. Anderlecht will most likely leave the Vanden Stock Stadium by then.
