Anderlecht won their third play-off match against Lokeren: 1-2. It's the first away victory after the winter break. The Mauves are now ranked third on three points of leader Standard. Tomorrow, the next game follows.

Anderlecht started with the same team that crushed Bruges. And also this time the Brussels' team took a good start. Maric slipped in the box, lost the ball and Cyriac scored: 0-1. Another defensive mistake led to the equaliser a few minutes later: Dutra was on the right place and scored via the post with a hard effort.

Anderlecht collapsed after the equaliser and needed an excellent Silvio Proto to keep the scoreline in balance. Lokeren got chance after chance and Proto made safe after safe. That way, Anderlecht reached half time with the 1-1 on the scoreboard.

In the second half, the reigning champions had more control over the match, without creating chances themselves. Until a brilliant pass of Van den Borre reached Mitrovic. The Serbian striker kept his head cool and scored: 1-2. A late offensive from the home-side did not produce any goal, again thanks to Silvio Proto. Also referee Nzolo helped when he didn't notice a hands-ball of Kouyaté in the box. Final result: 1-2.
