Besnik Hasi signed a new contract for Anderlecht: the Albanian stays trainer of the club until 2016. This means his current deal has been extended with two years.

The negotiations between both sides recently started and were already concluded today. Just one month and a half after his debut as a main coach, his contract is already extended.

Hasi played for Anderlecht from 2000 until 2006. In that year, he joined Anderlecht's staff to finally become assistant coach under Van den Brom. When the Dutchman was sacked in February, Hasi assumed command as temporary coach. Meanwhile, improvement in the team's performance is noticeable and this was apparently enough for the direction board to start negotiations for a new term as coach. Hasi is very familiar with Anderlecht's football projects and philosophy. So it's not surprising both sides rapidly came to an agreement this afternoon.
