Anderlecht - Genk: 4-0

Anderlecht defeated Racing Genk by 4-0 on sunday. Massimo Bruno scored twice, Dennis Praet and Andy Najar once. With only two more games to play, Anderlecht is the new leader in the league.


After a slow start with few chances, Bruno suddenly stood alone in front of keeper Köteles. The striker kept his cool and scored. Anderlecht dominated without being very dangerous. By the end of the first half, a few chances were created and Najar doubled the lead after a nice attack.

The second half was more entertaining. Genk barely had two chances while Anderlecht wished to entertain their fans. The 3-0 followed soon after a nice combination. The fourth goal was even nicer. Pollet came close to the fifth of the evening, but Köteles and the post prevented the Mauves from scoring one more.
