Anderlecht beat Charleroi yesterday and is now the only club with a perfect score since the start of the competition. The Mauves played a very weak match though and won thanks to a goal of Mitrovic.
The game can easily be summerized in one word: weak. Anderlecht monopolized the ball, but could not create any serious chances. There were too many bad passes, failed actions and imprecise centers. Charleroi clearly lacked quality to do something on the counter attack. Mitrovic' goal came by surprise. A rare good center was headed against the net by the Serbian striker.
The second half brought more of the same. With a double substitution (Suarez and Kabasele), coach Hasi tried to improve the situation. But it was only in the last few minutes that Anderlecht managed to create some danger. Suarez had a few opportunities, but he was too selfish. The scoreline remained 1-0.
