Anderlecht and the Belgian treasury are involved in a dispute. According to the treasury, the Mauves had to pay taxes on the income generated from tv-rights. Anderlecht meanwhile deposited the money.
But that's not all: Anderlecht does not agree with the treasury and started a law suit. If they win, the deposited money will be refunded plus 7 years of interests. If they lose, the club avoids the payment of an extra fine.
