Statistics: Praet as good as De Bruyne

Dennis Praet will probably leave Anderlecht this summer. Anderlecht wants at least ten million euro for him. We compared his statistics to those of Kevin De Bruyne. It resulted in some remarkable similarities.


Praet en De Bruyne play at similar positions. They both played in the academy of Racing Genk and were promoted to the A-team when they were seventeen. De Bruyne is 1m81 tall, Praet 1m80. They are now both part of the national team.

Dennis Praet plays now four and a half season for the A-team of Anderlecht. He played 111 games *, scored thirteen goals and gave 25 assists.

Kevin De Bruyne played 94 games after four and a half season in the A-team of Genk. He scored thirteen goals and gave… 25 assists. Believe it or not.

Chelsea bought De Bruyne for eight million euro. He didn’t play more then 160 minutes in the Preamier League and Champions League, but The Blues sold him for 22 million euro.
