The story is going on that Aruna will earn a lot more now, after his desertion, but chairman Roger Vanden Stock denies that.

"He'll be fined. Simply to show other players that this kind of behaviour is not tolerated. I can't punish the whole team though, that's why Aruna has to play. He'll train with the group on Thursday and play on Saturday."

"Everything is going better now", said Vanden Stock, who attended the training in Neerpede yesterday. "But for how long? What happens when some players are on the end of their contracts? Aruna will probably stay until the end of the season. If West Bromwich Albion bid 7 million again in January, then I'm prepared to negotiate about a transfer."
