Standard get an important victory over Anderlecht. First Ciman scored, just before stoppage time De Camargo doubled their advantage. Defour was booked yellow booked twice by then. Before the game a disgusting banner was shown.


The first half can be skipped easily in this summary. It was the second half which was decisive. In the 52nd minute, Milec was down on the ground after a duel with Deschacht. Boucaut paused the game to allow doctors on the field. Just after the pausing whistle of Boucaut Defour gave the ball a hard shot into the stands. Since he was already booked yellow for a similar action in the first half it was a stupid shot. Second yellow, Anderlecht down to ten men. Anderlecht fans became angry and threw seats onto the field.
