Who will win the Cup: Bruges or Anderlecht? It's for sure the clash between Belgium's two best teams. Bruges may have an advantage, since they have been on a winning streak while Anderlecht had difficulties in the last few games.
On top of that, the Brugians were able to advance to the quarter finals of the Europa League after beating Besiktas. This will surely give them a boost, but maybe their physical condition suffered under the rapid sequence of games. Bruges still has to do without playmaker Vasquez as well.

Continue reading Anderlecht on the other hand had more time to prepare for the match. But their last two league games were not good. In Lokeren, the Mauves escaped with a victory after some luck. Against Ghent, things turned for the worst. Anderlecht was dominated in their own stadium and lost 1-2. On the bright side, many key players are now fit again. Marin, Defour, Praet and Rolando should all be ready to play a complete match. Further, Anderlecht's U19 team easily qualified for the semi-finals of the UEFA Youth League (Champions League for youngsters). Some of these talented players could play as well this evening and maybe make the difference.
The kick-off will be given at 6pm in the Belgian national stadium. Anderlecht's fan village opens four hours earlier.
