Yves Vanderhaeghe didn't play anymore in the last few months and it hurt him. But there is hope now. Vanderhaeghe is back in the A-team after his strong game with the reserves against Lierse last Monday.

The midfielder came in action on February 14 for the last time. He's now finally back, after a long injury: "The resultats of my physical tests at the beginning of the season were as good as the ones of 4 years ago."

"But I couldn't get into the team. I wondered what I did wrong. Also when Hasi and Junior were injured, the coach didn't select me to replace them. I had to train with 17 years old players and that wasn't good for my motivation. I was ignored and it frustrated me."

But now Yves is close to a selection for the team again.
"I'm waiting and hoping now. I want to prove something on the field and not with words in a newspaper. Quitting football is not an option, I still feel good."
