Pär Zetterberg scored the only goal of the game, but the Swedish midfielder admitted that he and Anderlecht didn't play a good game. "It was a bad day", said the midfielder.

"After that goal, we started playing better. I like playing with two strikers, there are much more opportunities then."

Baseggio also admitted it was a difficult match. "There were much more duels than I had expected. Brussels countered us well, with Nong and Selemani. We can be satisfied with the 0-1. Things went well with five midfielders. Also the collaboration with Zetterberg turned out well. At the end of the game, I really felt I didn't play much in the last few weeks."

Vanderhaeghe played a full match for the first time since long, but he also couldn't increase the playing level. "I realise it didn't look good. With a derby like this, there's a lot of pressure involved, and that makes it difficult. There were a lot of question marks about the way we would play today. But it all turned out well."

Fabrice Ehret was satisfied with his début. "I was immediately in the match. I didn't have trouble with playing together with my team mates. Don't forget we've trained a lot. Pace is one of my skills. I got a lot of good reactions of my team mates. I grabbed my chance, eventhough I admit I'm exhausted now."
