Gilles De Bilde to Lierse

Gilles De Bilde moves to Lierse at the last day before the transfer market closes! The deal was closed around 19:00. Both clubs came to a fast agreement. He will perform the physical test Thursday.

It was Lierse that contacted Anderlecht. Lierse already showed some interest in the striker, but couldn't pay his salary. After their transfers of Huysegems and Koné, new money was available for Lierse. After a short negotiation, both clubs came to an agreement.
De Bilde will play for Lierse for one year (on loan). Next year, De Bilde's contract ends. This means he can freely leave the club then.
De Bilde has to streinghten the offensive line for Lierse. Gilles himself has his doubts if he can do this. "I didn't play for a very long time" he said. "I hope I can do what my new clubs expects."
